Extensive examples of my work are available through my contently.com Writing Portfolio.
What I See, my examination of my aging body, is an example of my published poetry. It can be seen in the Featured Fifty Poetry section of The Huffington Post.
Audio readings of What I See, This Way, Ephemera and Starlings are also available here.
Feast of Losses, my essay mourning the loss of my father, was originally published in North Atlantic Review and Concho River Review (First rights). Writing it was a gut-wrenching experience. In fact, I worked on it for three years prior to publishing it.
Breadcrumbs in Dark Times: Any Minute Now, Everything Will Change is my most popular published essay, having been published on my blog, Rebelle Society, and The Good Men Project. To date, it has been shared over 20,000 times.
Soul Work 101: Lancing Our Wounds, Loving Our Scars is, perhaps, my most raw and personal essay (of the hundreds I've published). It appeared, first on my blog, and then as a featured article on The Temple of Anjana.
